Jakotsu Cosplay

Me as Jakotsu from Inuyasha at Metrocon 2011. I'm a huge Jakotsu fangirl and figured that I just had to cosplay him.

I made this costume (and it was actually my first cosplay costume I made from scratch) and entered it in the Metrocon 2011 costume contest. It took a while to make, but most of it was pretty easy except for that sword. >.< It took forever to make, and I used up about 2 cans of silver spray paint on that. My favorite part was painting the green leaf pattern on, since it was pretty easy and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I need to get a longer wig and style the bangs, but overall I'm really proud of this cosplay.
